Embroidered Stash Box

This was so fun to make! I have had the tutorial from craft passion and a blank 2 inch button set for sometime now, and I finally sat down and made it.  My only suggestion to you if you try is to get a cotton zipper, it’s much more forgiving!

I added a little pocket in mine, since I used an old linen shirt to make it, the already had embroidery on the trim.

I’ve been working furiously on my first few products for my store. I’ll have some pdf patterns, bags, journal covers, zip pouches, fabric baskets and some other sewn goods to start, and reupholstered vintage chairs on the way. I’ll also be offering terrariums, upcycled furniture, various “fun with resin” projects I experiment with and maybe some of my prints if I feel like bearing my soul to the world. I am too critical of my own work, which has slowed this process but I just want to make sure all my handmade items are high quality and made with attention to detail and lots of TLC.   Here is a sample of what I have been working on, similar to what you will be seeing in the Path to Odd etsy store.  Enjoy Friends!
