I’m an odd girl that likes to create things.  I’m almost positive my dog is my soul mate and I enjoy going asleep to dream just as much as waking up to live.  I could do the whole Q&A thing but I’ve decided to show you a self portrait in visual media.  These are the people who inspire me to be exactly who I am.

 

 

 

 

 

Remedios Varo, my favorite surrealist painter.

In this painting a woman is leaving the psychoanalysts office.  She is dropping the burden of her fathers memory into a well as another layer is shed off of her cloak.  She carries her burdens in a basket, but now it is a little bit lighter.

Robert Frost – The Road Not Taken

It might be clear to you that this is a favorite of mine by the title of my blog.  I’m a firm believer in following your own road, or path if you will.

 

 

 

 

Terence Mckenna.  I can not get enough of his way out of the box theories.  I truly believe that the study of consciousness and ethnopharmacology are important to us truly thriving as a species. Thisis a great resource for information about him.

Phish who I believe is the greatest band in the world.  You might not like them, thats ok, some people don’t get it, but if you do, you know why.  Never have five (counting Kuroda of course) people so perfectly improvised music and lights  to make such beautiful music and such moving concerts.  Harry Hood captures there music well for those who don’t know them.   They lyrics may seem like nonsense, the music is sometimes scary, sometimes beautiful and sometime overwhelming….but the songs change and grow with every performance and the have the most loyal and loving fans of any band, in my opinion.  I love them dearly.
